  • In Dubai, at least one of the parties needs to have a UAE residence visa.
  • The bride’s father or their marriage lawyer in Dubai needs to be present in person for the marriage.
  • Two male Muslims must be there as witnesses.
  • For expatriates, passports and their photocopies and ID proof of witness are needed.
  • If the bride is Muslim and her father is not, she needs a ‘No Objection’ letter from her respective embassy or consulate.
  • In the case of divorce or death of the spouse, status proof needs to be presented.
